As a bonified “Car Guy” I was blown away with the selection of truly special collector cars available to rent at Dominion Autosports.  It was difficult to chose between my three favorites of the lot, a BMW M4GTS (only 803 produced), a stunning 1991 BMW 850i but I decided to rent a pristine BMW V10 M6 MT6 (only 323 produced).   Our experience started with a brief tour of their ultramodern showroom with high ceilings, glass walls and polished concrete floors.  The friendly staff presented us with a welcome package including a DA polo shirt, hat, healthy snacks and bottled water for two.  The M6 was positioned in the showroom next to a huge glass roll up door and welcome carpet, shiny, gassed up and ready to roll.  My wife, a “Car Gal” and I made our way to La Jolla for lunch and then cruised through Rancho Santa Fe and along the Del Dios Highway that runs by Lake Hodges.  The V10 M6 generated a wonderful sound as I rowed through the gears and both my wife and I were smiling ear to ear.  The M6, with 507 hp, was an astonishing experience. I have never had more fun in a car and the hours just disappeared. It was an exceptional day and an exceptional ride. It was such a great experience that we will surely return and take another beautiful car out for a tour around San Diego.
